Anushka Sharma a.k.a Shruti has put in a lot of efforts to learn the Punjabi accent for Band Baaja Baaraat. She spent a lot of time perfecting her accent for a typical Delhi Punjabi girl. “Punjabis have a typical accent and it was very important for me to perfect that, Just notice carefully and you will find that they don’t complete the sentence or a few words and they really speak very fast”, is what Anushka believes.
Anushka had a fun time speaking the newly acquired language on the sets of BBB too:-)
